Family Photography
Summers in San Antonio can be challenging for outdoor photography—high heat, unpredictable conditions, and plenty of bugs. But even on a hot July afternoon at Cibolo Nature Center, this family session proved that meaningful moments shine through.
Photographing this young family of three—mom, dad, and their toddler son—offered the perfect opportunity to capture playful, candid interactions surrounded by the beauty of the natural prairie and wooded trails. Although their little one was a bit camera shy at first, with patience and a relaxed approach, we helped him warm up, leading to a series of authentic smiles, laughter, and joyful moments with his parents.
Despite the summer heat and outdoor distractions, thoughtful pacing and a flexible session flow allowed for a collection of warm, heartfelt images that celebrate family connection in a natural, timeless setting.
